#1 UNC Hosts Pitt On Senior Day Sunday

CHAPEL HILL - The regular season finale this Sunday for the No. 1 North Carolina women's tennis team will also serve as Senior Day when the Tar Heels host Pitt for a 1 p.m. match at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
UNC will honor Marika Akkerman, Maggie Kane and Cassandra Vazquez, who have played key roles in the most successful four-year stretch in program history. All three have served as team captain's this season, helping guide Carolina to its No. 1 national ranking for a school record 10 straight weeks.
Over the last four seasons, this trio has seen their program win two ITA National Indoor Championships, two ACC Championships, three ACC regular-season titles and compile an impressive 116-11 overall dual match record and a scintillating 52-3 mark against the ACC.
-Free hot dogs, drinks, and chips for early arriving fans!
- Raffle for t-shirts and tennis racket
- We encourage fans to stick around after the match for a special celebration honoring the seniors!
