GAME SEVEN NOTEBOOK
• Carolina and UCLA are meeting for the 12th time and the first since playing in the CBS Sports Classic in Brooklyn on 12/19/2015.
• Carolina is 8-3 all-time against the Bruins. Roy Williams is 6-2, including 2-0 as head coach of the Tar Heels.
• UNC is 3-2 in Orleans Arena. The Tar Heels have lost their last three games played in Las Vegas.
• Carolina has not lost two games in one tournament since going 1-2 in San Juan in the Puerto Rico Classic in November 2010. The Tar Heels beat Hofstra, then lost to Minnesota and Vanderbilt.
• The Tar Heels have scored 582 points and are averaging 97.0 points in their first six games. • Cameron Johnson surpassed the 1,000 career points mark with his 16 points against Texas. The graduate student scored 583 points in 73 games over parts of three seasons at Pitt and has 424 points in 32 games in two seasons as a Tar Heel. He is the 77th player to play for Carolina to score 1,000 collegiate points.
• Carolina's opponents have made a three-pointer in 1,000 consecutive games. The last time an opponent didn't make one was Jacksonville on 11/27/1990. Texas made 11 three-pointers in yesterday's game.

• Carolina trailed at the half for the first time this year.
• This was the first time a player on each team scored 30 or more points since Carolina's last game in Las Vegas, against Kentucky on 12/16/2017. Justin Jackson had 34 for the Tar Heels and Malik Monk scored 47 for UK. The game was played in T Mobile Arena. Coby White had 33 for UNC and Kerwin Roach II had 32 for the Longhorns.
• White scored 20 of Carolina's 42 points in the first half. It was the first time a Tar Heel has scored 20 in a half since Joel Berry II had 25 in the second half vs. Miami on 2/27/2018.
• Carolina is now 3-1 when playing on Thanksgiving.
• The Tar Heels are 3-2 in Las Vegas Invitational games played in Orleans Arena.
• Carolina has lost its last three games in Las Vegas (11/26/2011 to UNLV, 12/7/2016 to Kentucky and 11/22/2018 to Texas).
• Carolina shot 44.3 percent from the floor, its lowest of the season.

• Coby White led all scorers with 33 points, the most by a Tar Heel this season, and the most by a UNC freshman since Harrison Barnes scored 40 against Clemson on 3/12/2011 in the ACC Tournament. It is the third most points by any UNC freshman.
• White's 33 are the most by a Tar Heel since Luke Maye had 33 at NC State on 2/10/2018. White's previous scoring high in a game was 16 in the previous contest vs. Saint Francis.
• White made seven three-pointers, which ties the seventh most in a game by a Tar Heel (10th time a Tar Heel has made seven in a game). White's seven three-pointers are the second most by a UNC freshman (Raymond Felton made eight, which equals the school record, against NC State on 1/26/2003).
• Seven threes are the most since Joel Berry II made seven at Clemson on 1/3/2017.
• White is the eighth Tar Heel freshman to score 30 or more points (the ninth time it has been accomplished).
