CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The 14th-ranked Carolina women's tennis team improved its Atlantic Coast Conference record to 6-1 as it captured a 6-1 victory over an unyielding Virginia team Sunday afternoon at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. UNC has won its last six matches and moves to 18-6 on the season. Carolina remains undefeated at home after 13 contests on its own turf. The Cavaliers fall to 5-12, 1-6 in the ACC.
The Tar Heels now look to Wednesday, when they host their final home match of the season against 12th-ranked Duke. The match begins at 6 p.m. and will be the final for seniors and All-Americas Kendall Cline and Aniela Mojzis.
