Jaime Halton

Jaime Halton is the Athletic Event Management graduate assistant for Carolina Athletics. He began working with the gameday team in 2020 as an undergraduate Tar Heel Ambassador and moved into his current role in 2025 as a second-year student in the sport administration master’s program.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Halton earned his B.A. in sport administration from the University of North Carolina in 2024, with minors in sports medicine and neuroscience. He is expected to complete his M.A. in sport administration at UNC in 2026.
Halton has experience across several areas of athletics, including an internship with NASCAR’s Facility Operations team in Charlotte and summer event work with Gatorade and TST. At the University of North Carolina, he has held roles in Athletic Event Management and the strength and conditioning department, served as an athletic training aide at Chapel Hill High School through clinical placement and worked as a personal trainer for Campus Recreation. He also serves as co-president of the Sport Administration Club.
Halton is one of a set of Irish triplets and is especially interested in athlete health, safety and operations within collegiate sports. His academic focus centers on improving institutional support and emergency response planning for student-athlete health and wellness.
