2024 – Sophomore Season
Thre two passes, completing one in game against Georgia Tech • Appeared in game against JMU • Started against NC Central, going 2-of-6 for 22 yards • Led UNC to win in the home opener against UNC Charlotte, throwing for career bests of 219 yards and two touchdowns through the air, with 39 yards and another score on the ground • Entered the opener against Minnesota with three minutes left in the third quarter and led UNC on two field goal drives, both while trailing • Was the first quarterback to come off the bench to lead the Heels to victory since 2008.

2023 – Redshirt Freshman Season
Appeared in five games while making his first career start against West Virginia in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl • Against the Mountaineers, Harrell went 22-of-33 for 270 yards and two touchdowns while adding 75 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground • Completed his first pass of the season versus Campbell • Went 4-of-4 for 71 yards and a touchdown with 61 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground against Campbell.
