JUNIOR (2007)
 Versatile player saw action in 47 games and made 10 starts • Played at first base, third base and in the outfield • Hit .262 (16-for-61) with 10 RBI and six runs scored • Had five doubles • Led the Tar Heels with seven hits as a pinch-hitter for a .368 average (7-for-19) off the bench • Batted .306 (11-for-26) with runners on base • Played in 16 ACC games and hit .286 (6-for-21) with five RBI • Went 2-for-4 with a career-best three RBI at Boston College April 8 • Started at third base opening day and had two singles against Seton Hall Feb. 16 • Came on for a key pinch-hit, two-run double in the March 13 win over Elon and added a run-scoring double versus Towson March 20 • Had a key pinch-hit RBI double at Maryland May 18 • In the ACC Tournament, went 2-for-3 with a key double against Virginia and an RBI against Georgia Tech • Went 1-for-4 in the NCAA Tournament with a pinch-hit single against Oregon State in the College World Series June 23. Summer 2007: Played with the Outer Banks Daredevils of the Coastal Plain League • Batted .184 in 14 games played • Had nine hits, including two doubles and two home runs, to go with seven RBI and six runs scored. 
SOPHOMORE (2006)
 Valuable utility player that played five positions on the season • Played in 53 games and made 26 starts • Hit .328 (39-for-119) with 27 runs scored and 16 RBI • Swiped five bases and added three doubles, one triple and one home run • Went 5-for-13 (.386) as a pinch hitter to rank as UNC's top hitter off the bench • Hit .418 (23-for-55) against left-handed pitching to lead the team • Committed just one error and posted a .986 fielding percentage • Tallied eight multi-hit games and three multi-RBI outings • Hit .288 with a home run and six RBI in ACC play • Batted .333 with two RBI in the NCAA Tournament • Notched a career-best of three hits against Appalachian State March 8 and George Mason March 14 • Tallied six two-hit efforts, including a 2-for-4 day at Virginia May 14 • Came off the bench to go 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs scored against Maine in the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional June 2 • Also drove in two runs against UNC Greensboro April 18 and VCU April 25. Summer 2006: Hit .250 and started 31 games for the Outer Banks Daredevils of the Coastal Plain League • Drove in 12 runs and scored 16 • Tallied seven doubles, one triple and one home run • Also made one appearance on the mound and pitched three innings. 
FRESHMAN (2005)
 Saw action in 30 games and made five starts - three at third base and two at shortstop • Hit .250 (7-for-28) • Scored nine runs and drove in four • Hit safely in four of his five starts, all of which came in ACC play • Singled, drove in two runs and scored a run against Birmingham Southern Feb. 27 • Also scored and drove in two runs at Virginia Tech March 11. Summer 2005: Played with the Outer Banks Daredevils of the Coastal Plain League • Started 49 games and hit .197 • Drove in seven runs and stole 10 bases in 12 attempts. 
SOUTH MECKLENBURG HIGH SCHOOL
 Four-year letterman at South Mecklenburg High School for coach Hal Bagwell • Played third base and shortstop • Two-time all-conference choice • As a senior, earned all-state honors and was named county player of the year • All-county selection in 2004 • Played in the 2004 North Carolina-South Carolina All-Star Game • Team captain as a senior and guided team to conference title • Three-year N.C. State Games participant • Played with the East Cobb Astros in 2002 and helped team to an 82-7 record and numerous tournament titles • East Cobb Andy Porter Award Winner in '02 • Also played one year of high school basketball • Volunteer counselor at Baseball for Life Camp • Also volunteered at Hemby Children's Hospital.
