Posted a 3-3 record with five saves and a 3.04 ERA • Second on the Tar Heels in appearances with 28 • Tied with Matt Poston for the team lead in saves with five, tied for eighth in the conference • Finished 11 games, second on the team behind Poston • Has strikeout to walk ratio of 2.18 (61:28) • Had more strikeouts than innings pitched in seven appearances • Pick up his first save against Longwood (2/22), striking out five in the final 3.0 innings • Earned his first win as a Tar Heel against VCU (3/1) • Struck out nine in 3.1 innings of relief in the series opener against Virginia (3/10) • Made his lone start of the season at Charlotte (3/14) and struck out eight in 6.2 innings • Struck out five in 3.2 innings against Coastal Carolina (3/28) • Saved both of the Tar Heels’ wins over Notre Dame in South Bend • Struck out four batters in 1.2 innings versus Clemson in the ACC Baseball Championship.

Season was limited to 14 games due to Ivy League restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic • Had three starts on the mound and made two appearances out of the bullpen • He worked a team-high 26 innings on the bump • He led the team in strikeouts with 26 • He went 2-0 with a 2.42 ERA • Pitched five scoreless innings and struck out seven versus La Salle on April 3 • Went seven innings and surrendered just one earned run, while striking out a season-best eight hitters versus Delaware on April 10 • Pitched five or more innings in four of his appearances.
