Junior Season (2018)
Appeared in a career high 15 games during his junior season • Hit .167 with one run scored • Scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning against Georgia Tech on April 21 for the 9-8 win • Recorded a hit on March 27 at Charlotte • Earned ACC Honor Roll and Tar Heel Scholar-Athlete honors.
Sophomore Season (2017)
Appeared in 12 games and made one start at designated hitter • Hit .200 with three RBIs and two walks on the year • Had a pair of doubles and three RBIs, including a run-scoring double against Miami in the ACC tournament • Standout in the classroom who was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for the second straight year.
Freshman Season (2016)
Appeared in 14 games and made three starts at catcher • Hit .222 with two runs scored and two RBIs • Drove in a pair of runs with his first career hit against Western Carolina on March 22 • Also had a hit in a start at Miami on April 3 • Threw out the only runner to attempt a stolen base against him • Standout in the classroom who was named to the 2015-16 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Puyallup High School
Played football for two seasons in addition to four years of baseball • Led his team to a 4A state baseball title and a perfect 28-0 record in 2014 • Class valedictorian and Washington State Scholar • Named to the Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-America team as a senior • Four-time first-team all-state performer • Hit .377 with 101 RBIs in his career • Also had a 10-4 record and a 2.37 career ERA as a pitcher • Ranked the No. 1 catcher and the No. 2 player overall in the state of Washington by Perfect Game • Also considered the No. 23 catcher nationally by PG • After earning Underclass Second Team All-America honors in 2013, was named to the PG Underclass First Team All-America list in 2014 • Named to the Top Prospect Team at the 2014 National Showcase in Fort Myers, Fla. • Coached by Marc Wiese at Puyallup.
