Played in 17 games and made seven starts (three at second base, three at DH, one in left field) • Started the first two games of the season at second base • Made his next two starts as the designated hitter in the final two games of the Miami series • Made his left field debut against UNCW • First hit as a Tar Heel was a pinch-hit, three-run double against Stony Brook (3/5) • Had an RBI double at Coastal Carolina (5/16).

Graduate of Reagan High School in Pfafftown, N.C. • Attended South Brunswick High School before his family moved to the Triad area • As a senior at Reagan, he hit .427 with six home runs, 21 RBIs, 10 doubles, three triples, 39 runs and 12 stolen bases • Earned second-team All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball • Received honorable mention all-state accolades from HighSchoolOT.com • Selected to play in the inaugural Triad Prep All-Star Classic in 2022 • Named to the Central Piedmont 4-A all-conference team • As a junior, he helped Reagan win the NCHSAA 4A West Region championship.
