Career Best Times: 20.08 in the 50-yard freestyle; 43.85 in the 100-yard freestyle; 1:37.26 in the 200-yard freestyle.
General: Ranks ninth in UNC history in the 50-yard freestyle at 20.08 seconds and fifth in Tar Heel history in the 100-yard freestyle at 43.85 seconds.
2016-17: Was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in November 2016.
2015-16: 2016 NCAA qualifier…named a CSCAA Scholar All-America…qualified for the 2016 Olympic Trials in the 50-meter freestyle…at 2015 Nike Cup, he placed 11th in the 200 free with a time of 1:40.08 and 11th in 100 free with clocking of 44.93…won the 100 free (45.28) in victory over Navy… named to ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Summer 2015: Combined with Logan Heck, Sam Lewis and Nic Graesser to place fourth in 400-meter freestyle relay at Phillips 66 Summer U.S. Nationals.
2014-15: Had an outstanding sophomore year...had career best times in 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyles...achieved all three of those career best times at the 2015 ACC Championships...placed 15th in 100 free at ACC meet...also set career best times at all three of those distances long course during the summer...a Rising Star in the Carolina Leadership Academy...tapped for fall semester 2014 Dean’s List...named to 2014-15 ACC Academic Honor Roll...honorable mention CSCAA Scholar All-America.
2013-14: Posted career best times in 50, 100 and 200 freestyles while competing in Bulldog Invitational…named to 2013-14 ACC Academic Honor Roll…participated in the 2014 Arena Grand Prix in summer 2013…at November’s Nike Cup tied for 12th in the 50 free (21.02), placed 13th in 100 free (45.91) and 19th in 200 free (1:41.05)… named to Dean’s List in 2013 fall semester and 2014 spring semester.
