2017-18: Earned a personal-best time of 1:49.52 in the 200-yard IM time trial at the ACC Championships • Also finished three other events with season bests — 3:53.57 in the 400-yard individual medley finals for 23rd, 15:54.99 in the 1650-yard freestyle for 34th and 4:27.61 in the 500-yard freestyle for 34th • Won the 200-yard individual medley in the dual meet against NC State, finishing the event in 1:53.21 • Swam a personal-best 200-yard fly time of 1:49.64 in the event prelims at the Tennessee Invitational • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll • CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention.

2016-17: Placed 18th at the ACC Championships, posting a time of 15:28.86 • Placed 16th in the 400-yard individual medley at the 2016 GAC Invitational.

2015-16: At 2015 Nike Cup, he placed 10th in 400 IM with time of 3:59.54 and sixth in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 15:21.57 • Named to CSCAA Scholar Honorable Mention All-America Team • Dean’s List in both semesters of 2015-16 school year • Qualified for 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 400-meter individual medley and 1500-meter freestyle • Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Prep: Attended Cardinal Gibbons High School from 2011-15 • Coached by Tar Heel alumnus Jonah Turner in high school • NCHSAA 3A state championship most valuable performer in junior and senior years • Won 3A state championships in 500 free (2014 & 2015), in 200 free (2014) and in 100 breast (2015).

Club: Swam for North Carolina Aquatic Club where he was coached by Sean Quinn • In 2015, he placed fourth in 400 IM and eighth in 1500 freestyle at summer Junior Nationals.
