2011-12: Had three excellent finishes at the 2012 Virginia Tech Invitational...placed second in the 200 individual medley (2:06.18), third in the 100 butterfly (56.89) and fourth in the 100 freestyle (52.22)...won 100-yard freestyle in dual meet win over Duke...named to Dean's List both semesters...named to 2011-12 ACC Academic Honor Roll.

1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer is the pride I feel when I wear UNC on my cap or suit.

2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach DeSelm is that he that he is a good listener and he is very understanding.

3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is getting my confidence back after having mono.

4. My best friend on another college swimming team is Cari Caprio at Tulane University.

5. My greatest strength as a swimmer is my perseverance.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academic pursuits I like to spend time with my friends, baking, cooking, watching TV and movies, making crafts!

2. The best movie I've seen recently is The Lucky One.

3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be gymnastics.

4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Luke Bryan.

5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is I actually like to run on my own.
