CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina diver Sofia Knight has been named the ACC Women's Diver of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon. Knight won both the 1-meter and 3-meter events in a dual meet against Duke, helping the Tar Heels to a dominant 179.5-120.5 victory over the Blue Devils. This is Knight's second weekly honor of her career.

Knight scored a personal-best 312.90 on 1-meter to win the event, while moving to No. 7 all-time at UNC in the event. She also took the 3-meter competition with a score of 327.83, which was a little over six points away from her personal best.

Knight and the rest of the women's diving team are hosting Tulane on Friday at 3 p.m. for a competition at Koury Natatorium.
