Career Best Times: 1:40.80 in 200-yard freestyle; 4:28.14 in 500-yard freestyle; 48.66 in 100-yard backstroke; 1:45.57 in 200-yard backstroke.
2011-12 at University of Maryland: Swam for the University of Maryland where he placed in three events at the ACC Championships...showed tremendous improvement in his performances as compared to his freshman season...placed 10th in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:45.47, 10th in the 100-yard backstroke in 48.66 and 16th in the 500-yard freestyle...swam on three freestyle relays at ACCs that scored for the Terrapins.
2010-11 at University of Maryland: During his freshman year at the University of Maryland, he placed 20th in the 500-yard freestyle at the ACC Championships...was 23rd in the 100-yard backstroke and 21st in the 200-yard backstroke.
Prep: Graduated in 2010 from South Lakes High School...swam there for four years and also played soccer...as a senior in 2010, he was captain of South Lakes swim team while also being named all-district, all-region and all-state...member of National Honor Society.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is my underwaters.
2. My best friend on another college diving team is Mike Grimmett-Norris (Fordham).
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academics, I like to spend time hanging out with friends.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is Gladiator.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be basketball.
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Tiesto.
5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is that I love to travel.
Section #3: Food & Beverage
1. After a big meet, I'd like to eat at a buffet spread that included Chic-Fil-A, Taco Bell and McDonalds.
