General - Was originally recruited by the Tar Heels coming out of high school, but spent one year at Fresno State University playing with her sister instead...transferred to Carolina in the summer of 1997...adds depth in the Tar Heel defensive corps and will be looking to increase her playing time her senior season...lettered in 1997 and 1999 while gaining valuable experience in the backfield...decided to red-shirt in 1998 to gain invaluable experience and improve by playing day-to-day against some of the nation's top forwards.
1999 Season - -Saw action in eight games for the Tar Heels as a junior.
1998 Season - -Decided to take a red-shirt year to gain experience in the Carolina system.
1997 Season - Spring semester 1998 honor roll selection...played in 10 matches last season...scored against Pennsylvania...calls scoring that goal her biggest sports thrill.
1996 Season at Fresno State - Played during the 1996-97 school year at Fresno State University ion Fresno, Calif....played on a Bulldog team which went 9-11-1...she played in 15 games for the Bulldogs, starting eight times...she took three shots and had one yellow card.
Prep - Lettered all four years during a highly successful career at St. Mary's High School in Stockton, Calif....graduated from there in June 1996...a high school All-America in soccer there...named All-San Joaquin Athletic Association four years...led St. Mary's to a 120-8-4 mark over four years...was the team's MVP four years and its captain two years...played sweeper and helped team to 27 shutouts as a senior...in fact, no opponent her senior year in high school scored on her team when she was on the field during 33 games...ended her high school soccer career with 86 goals and 99 assists to her credit...lettered three years in track...was also an honor roll student for four years at St. Mary's.
Club Soccer - Played for state team two years and regional team one year...during her club career she had 45 goals and 91 assists...her club team was the California Cougars coached by Mark Kusanovich...was MVP of the Cougars five years and captain two years...was MVP of tournaments in both Bakersfield and Clovis
