Junior Season: Recorded 320 kills and 114 blocks for the season • Second on UNC in hitting percentage with a .301 average • Second on team in blocks with a 0.98 per game average and third on team in kills with a 2.76 per game mark • Named team's Most Improved Player for the season • Selected to both the GlaxoSmithKline UNC Classic All-Tournament team and the Jayhawk Classic All-Tournament squad • Won John C. Lotz Memorial Award at postseason banquet • Appeared in 116 of 119 games • Recorded career-high 10 blocks in 3-2 win over Florida State on 9/27 • Had career-high 19 kills and seven blocks in 3-1 win against Wake Forest on 10/16 • Had 12 kills, nine blocks and seven digs in 3-0 win over Temple on 8/30 • Had 18 kills and five blocks in 3-2 win over Maryland on 11/7 • Named team captain for the 2004 season along with Molly Pyles • Three-time member of the ACC Honor Roll.
Sophomore Season: Appeared in 51 games and 26 matches • Named to All-Tournament Team at Minnesota Invitational • Recorded double-digit kills in four matches, hitting higher than .315 in each of those matches • Finished the season second on the team with a .290 hitting percentage • Sixth on the team with 2.08 kills per game and fourth with 0.82 blocks per game • Recorded season-high 12 kills vs. Ball State on 9/7 and East Carolina on 10/15 • Recorded a season-high five blocks vs. Davidson on 9/17 and East Carolina on 10/15
Freshman Season: Played in 28 games and 11 matches • Posted seven kills and five total blocks in her first match as a Tar Heel on 9/1 against Villanova • Had 31 kills for the season • Averaged 1.11 kills per game and 0.86 blocks per game for the season.
High School: Played volleyball at Marist School in Atlanta, Ga. • Helped lead Marist to three consecutive state titles in 1998, 1999 and 2000 • Named to the 2000 Georgia All-State team, the 2000 Atlanta All-City team and the 2000 All-Star team • Was one of Marist's team captains in 2000 • Named to the 1999 Tournament of Champions All-Tournament team after her team took first place honors • Played middle blocker and outside hitter for the Atlanta Juniors Club Volleyball Club • A member of the National Honor Society • Earned Dean's List honors at Marist • Participated in Peer Leadership and was a member of the Mu Alpha Theta math honor society at Marist • Also was a member of Marist's chorale group and F.C.A.
