Appeared in all 12 games at linebacker and on special teams, finishing the regular season with 28 tackles and a tackle for loss • Had five stops in the Pitt win • Finished with three tackles (two solo) in the win at Virginia • Had two solo stops and a tackle for loss at Notre Dame • Matched a career high with six tackles at East Carolina.
2013 - Redshirt Freshman Season
Appeared in eight games and finished with 19 tackles • Made his first career start in the Belk Bowl victory over Cincinnati and responded with a career-best six tackles, including an 18-yard sack • Had a pair of tackles against Virginia and Boston College • Also had a solo stop against Old Dominion • Had four tackles and a quarterback hurry against East Carolina • Saw his most extensive action of the year at Georgia Tech, posting four solo tackles and a tackle for loss • Made his first collegiate appearance against Middle Tennessee.
