Swimming & Diving Announces 2026-27 Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina swimming and diving program has finalized its 2026-27 schedule, head coach Mark Gangloff announced on Monday. The Tar Heels will compete in 13 different events, including two home meets and postseason competition.

Carolina will open its season with a trip to Charlotte to take on Queens on Sept. 25. The Heels will also have fall dual meets with Duke on Oct. 16 in Chapel Hill and Virginia Tech on Nov. 5 in Blacksburg. They'll head to Knoxville for the Tennessee Invitational at the end of November.

Both swimming and diving will travel to their respective U.S. Nationals in December with swimming competing in Austin, Texas, home of this season's NCAA Championships, and diving heading to Midland, Texas. Â

After the turn of the year, UNC will head east to Raleigh for a dual meet with NC State on Jan. 15 followed by the UNC Invite in Chapel Hill Feb. 4-6. Diving will have its final tune-up at the VT Diving invitate Feb. 5-7 before the ACC Championships in Greensboro Feb. 16-20.

March will showcase NCAA competition with Diving Zones in Knoxville March 7-10. Then, the season will wrap-up with the NCAA Women's Championships in Austin March 17-20 folowed by the men's edition March 24-27.
