October 17, 2026 | Women's Golf
Following a delayed morning due to rain, the second day of the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational kicked into gear off a shotgun start, with Carolina firing off a 294 round as a team to sit in seventh heading into tomorrow's final round.
Braving cold weather conditions in the afternoon, Marie Prats-Rigual fired off Carolina's best round of the day by finishing one-over-par and remains seven-over-par on the weekend to sit tied for 38th.
Helen Yeung followed behind, with a two-over-par round at 73 to sit two-over-par on the weekend and tied overall in 14th.
Totaling two birdies throughout the afternoon, Grace Ridenour's three-over-par round has her now at four-over-par on the weekend and tied for 21st.
Duke's Rianne Malixi shot four-under-par to take the individual lead, while the Blue Devils are six-under-par as a team to lead the field.
Tournament action wraps up at UNC's Finley Golf Club on Sunday.
