Volleyball Announces European Tour

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Carolina volleyball head coach Mike Schall announced that the program will go on a foreign tour to Europe this summer.

Starting May 28, the team will fly to Istanbul, Türkiye to begin a 10 day trip spanning three countries. After four days and three matches in Türkiye the team will head to Slovenia where they will play one or two matches.

On June 5, the Tar Heels will go to Venice, Italy before eventually heading to Milan, Italy to play a match. The team heads home on June 8.

All match opponents will be announced at a later date.

In preparation for the European tour, Carolina will be hosting two open practices. The first on May 26 at Carmichael Arena at 4 p.m. The following day there will be another opportunity to watch the Tar Heels practice at 9 a.m.
