Men's Tennis Back Home This Weekend For A Pair

After four consecutive matches away from Chapel Hill, the University of North Carolina men's tennis team returns home to host a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference foes this weekend at the Chewning Tennis Center.
Carolina, ranked No. 69 in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, will welcome No. 38 Clemson on Friday at 5 p.m. and No. 52 Georgia Tech on Sunday at noon. Admission is free to both matches. The first 100 fans at Friday's match will receive a free hamburger from Al's Burger Shack.
The Tar Heels are 9-7 overall this season, including 2-4 in the ACC. UNC is 7-2 at the Chewning Tennis Center, including 1-1 in ACC play.
This weekend's action begins a four-match homestand that will conclude the team's 2026 regular season home slate. Carolina will host Wake Forest and NC State next weekend on March 27 and 29, respectively, then wrap up its schedule with road dates at Miami, Florida State and Duke. The 2026 ACC Championship will be held April 14-19 in Cary, N.C., at the Cary Tennis Park.
