Rowing Jumps Into CRCA Rankings At No. 20

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Following a stellar opening regatta at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite, North Carolina rowing has vaulted into the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll at No. 20.
Last season, the Tar Heels remained consistently ranked throughout the season and climbed as high as No. 19 in the CRCA Poll.
This past weekend on Melton Lake, Carolina came away with multiple first place finishes from its six boats including its 2V8 crew earning ranked wins over then No. 14 Indiana and No. 19 Duke.
Carolina is back on the water this weekend on March 21 for an exhibition against High Point prior to its next regatta at the Sunshine State Invitational in Sarasota, Florida from March 27-28.
