No. 2 Virginia Comes From Behind To Top MTEN, 4-2

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA.—Second-ranked Virginia fell behind, 2-0, but came back to defeat No. 65 North Carolina, 4-2, in an Atlantic Coast Conference men's tennis match on Sunday afternoon at the Virginia Tennis Facility.
The Tar Heels won the doubles point and Anthony Wright picked up the first singles win of the day to give UNC a 2-0 advantage before UVA won the final four singles matches to clinch the team win, 4-2.
With the win, the Cavaliers improved to 14-2 overall and 6-0 in the ACC. Carolina took its third loss in a row and fell to 9-7, 2-4.

Carolina will begin a four-match homestand next weekend to close its 2026 home slate when it hosts Clemson and Georgia Tech on Friday and Sunday, respectively, in Chapel Hill.

• Ian Meyew and Logan Zapp grabbed the first doubles win of the afternoon with a 6-2 win over Keegan Rice and Andrés Santamarta Roig, 6-2, at No. 3,
• The Cavaliers then took a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles over Chris Xu and Niels Ratiu.
