Swimming Wraps Up Day Two Of UNC Invitational

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina swimmers finished off day two of the UNC Invitational on Thursday. Colin Whelehan led the way on the men's side winning the 100 backstroke in 47.31, while newcomer Tiffany Murillo turned in a solid performance in the 500 freestyle with a 4:47.37.

The women's 400 medley relay turned in their top performance of the season. The combination of Emma Karam, Samantha Armand, Mary Macaulay and Kamryn Meskill clocked a 3:32.79.

The Heels will be back in action on Friday for the final day of the UNC Invitational. Action will begin at 5 p.m. at Koury Natatorium.
