CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Top-ranked North Carolina women's lacrosse cruised past Ohio St, 22-9, on Friday afternoon at Dorrance Field. The Tar Heels won their 25th straight, which is now tied for the 10th longest streak in NCAA history.

The Tar Heels had five players secure hat tricks on the day. Chloe Humphrey led the way with five goals, marking the 10th time in 25 career games she's scored at least five goals. Addison Pattillo and Eliza Osburn matched their career highs with four goals, while Kiley Mottice added thee. Kate Levy netted her second hat trick in as many games after setting her career high with three last week at Syracuse.

How It Happened

Eliza Osburn opened the scoring with a free-position goal just 49 seconds into the game.
Osburn added a second at 12:09 in the first and the Heels led 2-1.
Chloe Humphrey got on the board with an assist from Kaleigh Harden and it's 3-1.
Kate Levy rippled the net to make it 4-1 Heels.
Osburn completed a first quarter hat trick in less than 10 minutes.
Humphrey added a second with a rocket from eight meters and bagged her hat trick moments later.
Ohio St. ran off two straight to open the second quarter but Addison Pattillo responded with a hat trick in three minutes to make it 10-3.
Carolina led at the break 13-5.
Kiley Mottice scored her first to open the second-half scoring and make it 14-5.
Osburn scored on another free position for her fourth of the day.
Levy added her second of the day to make it 16-5.
Humphrey notched her fourth of the day on a breakaway and the Heels led 17-5.
Levy got another and posted her second hat trick in as many games.
Mottice secured her hat trick to give the Heels a 19-8 lead early in the fourth.
Mairyn Dwyer scored the first of her career with 5:31 left in the game to make it 21-8.
