No. 1 Women’s Lacrosse Buries Buckeyes, 22-9

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Top-ranked North Carolina women's lacrosse cruised past Ohio St, 22-9, on Friday afternoon at Dorrance Field. The Tar Heels won their 25th straight, which is now tied for the 10th longest streak in NCAA history.
The Tar Heels had five players secure hat tricks on the day. Chloe Humphrey led the way with five goals, marking the 10th time in 25 career games she's scored at least five goals. Addison Pattillo and Eliza Osburn matched their career highs with four goals, while Kiley Mottice added thee. Kate Levy netted her second hat trick in as many games after setting her career high with three last week at Syracuse.

- Osburn added a second at 12:09 in the first and the Heels led 2-1.

- Kate Levy rippled the net to make it 4-1 Heels.
- Osburn completed a first quarter hat trick in less than 10 minutes.
- Humphrey added a second with a rocket from eight meters and bagged her hat trick moments later.
- Ohio St. ran off two straight to open the second quarter but Addison Pattillo responded with a hat trick in three minutes to make it 10-3.
- Carolina led at the break 13-5.
- Kiley Mottice scored her first to open the second-half scoring and make it 14-5.
