Dramm Places Fifth In 400 IM To Pace Carolina At The ACC Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. – University of North Carolina swimmer Louis Dramm took fifth in the 400 IM to follow-up on his podium finish in the 200 IM yesterday as UNC wrapped day five of competition at the ACC Championships on Thursday. Dramm clocked a 3:41.42 to post an NCAA Standard and score 25 points. The women's team currently sits in seventh with 261.5 points, while the men are eighth with 299.5 points.

David Quaresma set a personal best of 1:33.82 in the 200 free to remain at No. 3 all-time at UNC in the event. He finished 19th overall in the event. Ben Delmar took 11th in the 400 IM with a 3:43.69, while Josh Parent moved to No. 6 all-time at UNC in the event, finishing 18th in 3:42.76.

On the women's side, Mary Macaulay posted the best finish of the day with a 16th in the 400 IM. She led a trio of Tar Heels, including Aislin Farris and Ava Muzzy, that notched NCAA standards.

The swimmers will be back in action on Friday with prelims getting underway at 9:30 a.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m.
