Football Places Three On CSC Academic All-District Team

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina's Coleman Bryson, Will Hardy and Jordan Shipp have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, announced Tuesday by the organization.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and must compete in 90 percent of the program's games or start in at least 66 percent of the team's games.
Bryson appeared in all 12 games for Carolina, recording 17 tackles and two pass breakups. He tallied 11 solo stops and six assisted tackles. The Waynesville native had his best game of the season with four tackles, all solo, against Virginia. Bryson is a junior majoring in exercise and sport science.
Hardy started every game for the Tar Heels this season and finished third on the team with 53 tackles. He notched 25 solo and 28 assisted tackles with two tackles for loss. Hardy is a two-time CSC Academic All-District Team selection, also earning the honor in 2023. Additionally, the Lawrenceville, Georgia, native is a three-time All-ACC Academic Team Selection and a three-time ACC Honor Roll member.
He graduated in May 2025 with a degree in business administration, served as a team captain and was named to the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Watch List.
Shipp was the Tar Heels' leading receiver with 60 catches for 671 yards and six touchdowns en route to earning All-ACC Honorable Mention honors. His 60 receptions and six receiving TDs were the sixth most in the ACC and his receiving yardage was 14th in the conference. Shipp found the end zone in four of Carolina's last five games compiling 351 yards on 31 catches during that span.
Hailing from Charlotte, Shipp recorded his first multi-touchdown game against Richmond with four catches for 52 yards and a pair of scores. He had a career-long 55-yard touchdown run against Stanford to lead the Tar Heels to the victory.
Shipp is a sophomore majoring in communication studies.
