Tar Heel Men Set To Return To Carolina Cup In Spring 2026

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The University of North Carolina men's soccer program will once again participate in one of the nation's premier spring college soccer events, as the Carolina Cup returns in 2026, culminating with the finals on Sunday, April 12, in Winston-Salem.
The spring competition will feature 10 programs from across the region, including Carolina, Wake Forest, Duke, NC State, UNCW, UNC Greensboro, Campbell, South Carolina, High Point and Virginia Tech.
Each program will compete in a five-match spring slate, consisting of two home matches, two away matches and one neutral-site contest at Wake Forest, during the final event at Spry Soccer Stadium in Winston-Salem.
Carolina Schedule
Feb. 21 (3 p.m.) - at Wake Forest
March 1 (6 p.m.) - vs. Duke
March 14 (2 p.m.) - vs. UNCW
March 28 (6 p.m.) - at High Point
April 12 (TBD) - Opponent based on Carolina Cup final standings
Championship Final
After the league phase, the Carolina Cup Final will be held on Sunday, April 12 at Spry Soccer Stadium in Winston-Salem. Full championship-day match-ups and kickoff times will be announced following the completion of league play.
Tickets
Tickets for the Carolina Cup finals are available for purchase here and will be $20 for adults and $10 for youth, with group discounts available for purchases of 10 or more tickets.
