Â
The home opener is set for Sept. 5 against Bucknell at 7 p.m., on the 7th UNC will face Oral Roberts.
Â
On Sept. 9 Carolina welcomes Florida to Chapel Hill for the first time since 1993. Keeping with the SEC, the Tar Heels will travel to South Carolina for a Friday night showdown on Sept. 12.
Â
After that starts an in-state stretch with six of the next seven matches are against North Carolina opponents. App State, ECU, Wake Forest, NC State, and Duke all travel to Chapel Hill with a date against Kansas State between App State and ECU.
Â
UNC will square off with Duke in back-to-back games, first at Carmichael on Oct. 1, then at Duke on Oct. 4.
Â
That starts a stretch of five consecutive road matches, following the Duke match the Tar Heels head to Clemson, Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Syracuse.
Â
They return home for a four-game stretch that features three teams that finished in the top 10 of the final RPI rankings last season and two teams that reached the national semifinals. National runner-ups Louisville come to town on Oct. 26 followed by SMU on Oct. 31. Then on Nov. 2, they'll square off with Pitt.
Â
After that UNC heads to west to take on Stanford and Cal on Nov. 7 and Nov. 9 before returning home to face off with Virginia and Virginia Tech.
Â
A trip to Florida to play Florida State and Miami is next before making a return trip to Virginia. The regular season finale is Nov. 29 at home against Miami.
Â
The Tar Heels look to build off the momentum of 2024 that saw them reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021 and the second round for the first time since 2016.
