ALBANY, N.Y. - The 2025 Premier Lacrosse Season kicked off in Albany, N.Y. this past weekend, with five North Carolina men's lacrosse alums seeing action across this weekend's four games at Tom & Mary Case Stadium on the campus of UAlbany.
Entering week one, five Tar Heels made their respective PLL 25-man rosters:
- Boston Cannons: Marcus Holman, Zac Tucci
- Carolina Chaos: Jack Rowlett
- Denver Outlaws: Justin Anderson
- Utah Archers: Connor Maher
May 30 - Carolina Chaos vs. New York Atlas
Defenseman Jack Rowlett began year seven in the PLL, opening the season with one caused turnover.
May 30 - Denver Outlaws vs. California Redwoods
Justin Anderson posted two shots attempts, in the Outlaws' season opener against the Redwoods.
May 31 - Utah Archers vs. Maryland Whipsnakes
Connor Maher earned the start for the Archers in the defensive midfield unit, earning the 8-7 victory.
May 31 - Boston Cannons vs. New York Atlas
Marcus Holman had two one-point goals and an assist, as the Cannons collected the 16-12 win. At the faceoff X, Zac Tucci won nine faceoffs and collected four ground balls, also converting one a two-point goal.
