CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Premier Lacrosse League continued its 2025 campaign this past weekend, with five North Carolina men's lacrosse alums making their return to play in the Tar Heel State, playing at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte.
June 6 - Carolina Chaos vs. Denver Outlaws
Jack Rowlett and the Chaos earned their first win of the campaign, 12-9, over Justin Anderson and the Outlaws. Anderson, who earned the start at midfield, finished the game with four shot attempts.
June 7 - Boston Cannons vs. Utah Archers
Marcus Holman's game-winning goal with two seconds remaining lifted the Cannons over the Archers, 9-8. Holman finished the day with one two-point goal in addition to his game-winner at the crease. Zac Tucci added a one-point goal, 10 faceoff wins and four ground balls for Boston. On the flip side, defensive midfielder Connor Maher collected a ground ball for Utah, who fell to 1-1 on the young season.
In the weekend finale, defenseman Jack Rowlett recorded two ground balls, as the Chaos fell to the Redwoods, 16-10.
