Four Named USA Lacrosse All-America

SPARKS, Md. - Four North Carolina men's lacrosse players were named to the USA Lacrosse All-America Teams, announced Thursday afternoon.Â
Brady Wambach (First Team), Dominic Pietramala (Second Team), Owen Duffy (Third Team) and Andrew O'Berry (Honorable Mention) were among the Tar Heel representation honored.Â
Wambach, who leads the ACC and is fourth-nationally in faceoff winning percentage (.643), became the first Tar Heel faceoff specialist to earn postseason honors from the ACC since Stephen Kelly in 2016. The Pittsford, N.Y. product has recorded double-digit faceoff wins in 13 games this spring, as well as 10-or-more ground balls in five contests in 2025.
Duffy ranks second on the Tar Heels with 31 goals, leading Carolina with 25 assists and 56 points. Duffy has scored three-or-more goals in seven games this spring, and posted five-or-more points in seven contests. The East Quogue, N.Y. product finished the regular season second in the ACC in assists per game (2.0/game) and third in points per game (4.25/game).
Pietramala, who leads Carolina and the ACC this season with 45 goals, earned ACC and national postseason recognition for the first time in his career. The Tar Heel attackman has scored a hat trick in nine games this spring, highlighted by six-goal efforts on the road at No. 4 Johns Hopkins and No. 10 Syracuse.
Entering the NCAA Tournament this weekend, the Lutherville, Md. native is five goals away from tying the Carolina single-season goals record.Â
A graduate transfer from Harvard, O'Berry arrived in Chapel Hill last fall. As a defensive midfielder for the Tar Heels, O'Berry has played in 13 games this spring, collecting 25 ground balls and six caused turnovers. The McLean, Va. product has posted multiple ground balls in seven games for Carolina, highlighted by his four-ground ball and three caused turnover effort in his Tar Heel debut versus Michigan.
The Tar Heels earned the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Tournament, hosting Richmond this Saturday. Opening faceoff between Carolina and the Spider is set for Noon, and tickets can be purchased here.Â
