WTEN Sweeps Georgia Tech, 4-0; Tallies Second Ranked Victory Of Weekend

ATLANTA, GA. -- In its last away match until early April, the No. 5 North Carolina Tar Heels (13-3, 4-0 ACC) tallied its second-straight win over a ranked opponent after it defeated the No. 22 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (7-6, 2-2 ACC), 4-0 in Atlanta on Sunday.
The Tar Heels returned to the doubles win column after winning on courts one and three. First, on court three, Tatum Evans and Theadora Rabman gave Carolina the doubles point advantage with a 6-2 win. Then, on court one, Reese Brantmeier and Alanis Hamilton clinched the doubles point for North Carolina with a 6-4 victory.
In singles action, Tatum Evans gave Carolina a 2-0 lead after she won, 6-4, 6-2 on court five. Next, Alanis Hamilton picked up the third point of the day for the Tar Heels after she won, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5). Finally, on court four, Carson Tanguilig clinched the match for North Carolina, and solidified its second 2-0 ACC weekend of the season.
