Men's Tennis Heads To Clemson & Georgia Tech

The University of North Carolina men's tennis team heads south this weekend for a pair of matches, wrapping up a four-match road trip. The Tar Heels will visit Clemson on Friday at 5 p.m. and Georgia Tech on Sunday at noon.
Carolina is coming off a pair of road Atlantic Coast Conference wins last weekend, taking 4-3 victories at Louisville and Notre Dame.
UNC is 9-4 this season and 3-1 in the ACC. The Tar Heels began conference play at home two weeks ago by beating Virginia Tech, 4-3, and losing to Virginia. The Tar Heels came from behind to beat both the Cardinals and Fighting Irish last weekend after losing the doubles point in each match.
Carolina is ranked No. 53 in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association national team rankings.
Ranked 24th nationally in the ITA poll, Clemson is 15-1 this season and 4-0 in the ACC. The Tigers have beaten Louisville, Notre Dame, SMU and Boston College in conference action. Their only loss of the year came at Illinois in February.
Georgia Tech is ranked 42nd and is 11-3, 4-0 this season with wins over the same four teams Clemson has beaten.
