Men’s Fencing Looks To Defend ACC Title At Home

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The North Carolina fencing program is hosting the Atlantic Coast Conference Fencing Championships on Saturday, Feb 22. and Sunday, Feb. 23 in the Eddie Smith Field House.

The men's team is the defending champions, as the team earned the program's first title since 1980 and the ninth in program history last season.

Then freshman Boris Muga was named Most Valuable Fencer of the ACC Championships after going 8-1 and helping led the men's epee squad to three wins.
