CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – University of North Carolina women's tennis concluded doubles and singles play in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regionals Tuesday at Chewning Tennis Center. Oby Kajuru started the day with a singles win to claim the Regional Singles Co-Champion title. Kajuru's win also secured her spot in the NCAA Individual Championships.

In the doubles final, duo Susanna Maltby and Kajuru continued their impressive run at Regionals. The pair took the Doubles Regional Championship while punching their ticket to the NCAA Individual Championships later this fall.

ITA Regionals
University of North Carolina women's tennis is set to host the Carolina region of the ITA Regional Championships from Oct. 16-21. The Tar Heels will welcome athletes from over 20 universities to compete at the Chewning Tennis Center this weekend.

ITA Regionals will take place at 13 different regions/sites across the country. Regionals is also an opportunity for athletes to qualify for the NCAA Doubles and Singles Championships. This tournament will qualify the two singles finalists from each region while only the doubles champion at each site will qualify for the NCAA Championships.
