Men's Tennis Starts NCAA Play Vs. Memphis Friday

The University of North Carolina will begin play in the 2024 NCAA Championship against 31st-ranked Memphis in the first round on Friday in Knoxville, Tenn.
The No. 27-ranked Tar Heels and Tigers will meet at 10 a.m. on Friday in Barksdale Stadium. Host and No. 7 seed Tennessee will play East Tennessee State on Friday at 1 p.m. The winners will meet on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Knoxville.
Carolina earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship after a 14-9 regular season. The Tar Heels tied for fifth in the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the ACC Championship.
UNC is making its 10th consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship and is seeking its 10th straight trip to the Round of 16.
Memphis (18-6) reached the final of the AAC Championship last month, dropping a 4-3 decision to Charlotte in the championship match.
Tickets for the Knoxville Regional are on sale for $5 per day and can be purchased here. Fans are encouraged to park in the Lake Avenue Garage. A parking map can be found here.
