
Track And Field Head To Boston For ACC Indoor Championships

BOSTON, Mass. -- Members of the University of North Carolina men's and women's indoor track and field teams will begin postseason competition when they take part in this weekend's 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships.
The championships will be held Thursday (Feb. 22) through Saturday (Feb. 24) at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston.
The Tar Heels lead the ACC men's teams among the top 25 of the USTFCCCA national poll, ranked at No. 13. The Seminoles hold the No. 15 spot, followed by No. 21 Louisville.Â
The women's ACC currently boasts two teams among the top 25 of the USTFCCCA national women's ranking, with Notre Dame at No. 19 and Clemson at No. 21.
This year's event will again showcase multiple world-class athletes and nationally-ranked teams.Â
The Virginia Tech men enter this year's event as three-time defending champions. Virginia Tech also won the women's championship last season.
ACC Network Extra (ACCNX) will stream the entire weekend's action. Coverage begins Thursday at 4 p.m., Friday at 11 a.m., and Saturday at 11 a.m. Watch links are listed below.
