February 10, 2024 | Men's Tennis
The University of North Carolina men's tennis team will host one of its biggest non-conference matches of the 2023-24 season when it welcomes No. 25 Georgia to the Cone-Kenfield Indoor Courts at the Chewning Tennis Center on Sunday at 1 pm.
The match with the Bulldogs is the second of seven consecutive home matches for Carolina.
After Sunday's meeting with Georgia, that stretch will include a non-conference match versus Furman as well as back-to-back home weekends to open Atlantic Coast Conference play.
The Tar Heels (4-3) are ranked 25th nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, released this week. Georgia is No. 24.
Carolina is 4-1 at home with wins over Campbell, North Carolina Central, Florida and Elon. The Tar Heels are coming off a 7-0 win over Elon on Thursday afternoon.
