Women’s XC Grabs At-Large Bid For NCAA Championship

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina women's cross country team earned an at-large bid to race in next weekend's NCAA Cross Country National Championship in Verona, Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 23.
The Tar Heels were one of 13 squads selected who did not finish in the top two of their region. Carolina finished in third in the Southeast Region on Friday, Nov. 15.
The women's 6K race is set for 10:20 a.m. EST while the men's 10K starts at 11:10 a.m. EST
The National Championship race will be held at Thomas Zimmer Championship Course. The broadcast will air live on ESPNU at 9:30 a.m. EST.
Ticketing Information
Fans attending the NCAA Championships are encouraged to purchase parking and their admission tickets ahead of time. An admission ticket is required for all spectators. An admission ticket is $20 and a parking permit is $5. One parking permit is required per vehicle and an admission ticket, which includes a shuttle ride, is $20.
