Cross Country Heads To Princeton For Final Race Before ACC Championships

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Carolina Cross Country will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 18, at the Princeton Invitational in New Jersey.Â
This is the final race before the ACC Championships, where the men will look to defend their conference title.
Friday's race will start with the women at 10:30 a.m. EST and then the men will race at 11:15 a.m. EST.
Cross Country is back in action after three weeks off following Parker Wolfe's win at the Nuttycombe Invitational. Wolfe's course record win resulted in a fourth-place finish for the men, while the women produced an impressive finish of 7th place. In both races, the majority of the field was ranked in the top 30 in the country.
The men and women are ranked as the No. 2 and No. 3 teams in the Southeast Region. The men's squad is ranked No. 11 nationally, while the women are ranked No. 16 nationally.
