Big Road Weekend On Tap For Men's Tennis

The University of North Carolina men's tennis team will play a pair of key Atlantic Coast Conference road matches this weekend in Virginia.
The ninth-ranked Tar Heels will visit No. 12 Virginia on Friday and No. 63 Virginia Tech on Sunday as they look to continue their recent hot streak that has seen them climb in the national rankings throughout the season.
Carolina has won four consecutive matches, including three in a row to start ACC play in 2023. UNC beat Boston College at home to start conference competition, then won road matchups at Notre Dame and Louisville to start 3-0 in the ACC.
Starting this weekend, UNC's next four matches will come on the road as it awaits the opening of its new outdoor stadium at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center. After the trip to Virginia and Virginia Tech, Carolina will visit Georgia Tech and Clemson next weekend. The next Tar Heel home match is scheduled for March 31 against NC State.
