Gymnastics Travels To LIU For Sunday Meet

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Carolina gymnastics team returns to action on Sunday, traveling to Long Island, New York, for a matchup with LIU. The meet will get underway at 2 p.m. in Pratt Recreation Center in Brookville, N.Y.
The matchup with the Sharks is Carolina's second-to-last regular season meet before the EAGL Championship on March 19 in Washington D.C.

The Tar Heels last meet was Feb. 24, the team's final home meet of the season, where Carolina posted a 195.225 against West Virginia (196.250).
Julia Knower earned her second all-around title in the loss, while Lali Dekanoidze took home the vault title and shared the bars title with teammate Elizabeth Culton.
