(Men's and Women's Soccer Teams)
The men's and women's soccer teams joined forces in September of 2019 to create the Carolina Soccer Kicks Childhood Cancer Initiative. The initiative included a month-long fundraiser to support the UNC Lineberger Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic, weekly visits with patients at the pediatric clinic, and a special experience for 10 patients at a home game. The teams raised a combined $14,000 to be used to help patients and their families with non-medical needs and to support child-life specialists in the clinic.

Team members have volunteered at UNC Hospitals and local elementary schools, and as part of programs including the Widowed Parents Support Program, Share Your Holiday, and Habitat for Humanity.
