#2 Carolina Sweeps Pitt To Remain Unbeaten In The ACC

WEXFORD, Pa. - Senior Chloe Ouellet-Pizer was victorious in six singles to help secure No. 2 North Carolina's 7-0 shutout of Pitt on Sunday morning from Oxford Athletic Club. The Tar Heels have won 13-consecutive dual matches and remain atop the Atlantic Coast Conference women's tennis standings with an unblemished 10-0 record.
North Carolina (22-1) quickly won the opening point in doubles to grab a 1-0 edge over the Panthers, who fell to 4-13 on the season and 0-10 in the league.
No. 5 Makenna Jones, No. 3 Alexa Graham, Ouellet-Pizer and Jessie Aney each won in straight sets for the Tar Heels, while No. 25 Cameron Morra and Alle Sanford made it a clean sweep with three-set victories.
UNC hosts its final two regular season home matches of the season next weekend against No. 20 Florida State on Friday and No. 14 Wake Forest on Sunday. The match with Florida State has been moved to 1:45 p.m. from its original 3 p.m. start time, while Sunday remains the same at 2 p.m.
