UNC Hosts Georgia Tech for ACC Divisional Series

CHAPEL HILL – North Carolina wraps up a seven-game home stand with Georgia Tech for a three-day series vs. the Yellow Jackets Friday through Sunday at Anderson Stadium. The Tar Heels are 9-2 in March with a sweep of Boston College and top-10 win over Georgia.

The series begins Friday at 6 p.m. at Anderson Stadium. Saturday and Sunday's first pitches are scheduled for 1 p.m. both days. Admission is free. Fans unable to attend can watch on the ACC Network Plus or follow live stats at unclivestats.com.

Recently for Carolina (15-10, 5-1 ACC)
Despite limiting the 11th-highest scoring offense to five hits, North Carolina dropped a 2-0 decision to No. 5 Tennessee. The Lady Vols' RBI-single in the first inning would be all they to clinch the win over UNC. Berlynne Delamora broke up Ashley Rogers' perfect game with a single in the fifth.
» Without an earned run, Brittany Pickett struck out four in her ninth complete game of the season.
» The Tar Heels are 2-2 against SEC foes in 2019. UNC falls to 4-5 against ranked teams this season.

Following an undefeated weekend in the circle, Brittany Pickett was recognized as the ACC Co-Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season. She was also selected as an NFCA top performer of the week.

» Limited No. 8 Georgia, the top scoring offense in the country, to one run on four hits.
» Threw a one-hitter with a season-high of nine strikeouts in the BC series opener.

» Threw her second one-hitter of the weekend to help UNC to a series sweep of BC.
