Carolina Hosts No. 5 Tennessee Wednesday

CHAPEL HILL – After a three-game sweep of Boston College, North Carolina welcomes Tennessee to Chapel Hill as the Tar Heels face their fourth SEC foe of the season. Carolina outscored its opponents 22-2 in four games led by Kiani Ramsey's five runs and .500 average. Brittany Pickett went 3-0 with a save in the week.

Wednesday's game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. first pitch at Anderson Stadium. Admission is free. Fans unable to attend can watch on the ACC Network Plus or follow live stats at unclivestats.com.

Outscoring Boston College 19-2, North Carolina downed the Eagles for UNC's first sweep of the season. The Tar Heels hit .377 throughout the weekend and stole 10 bases to up their season total to 47.
» Throwing two one-hitters, Brittany Pickett went 2-0 with a save, marking her 11th career save to tie Lisa Norris' program record. Hannah George picked up Saturday's win in five shutout innings.
» Kiani Ramsey had two multi-hit games: 2-for-2 on Saturday and 3-for-3 on Sunday.
» UNC limited Boston College to six hits throughout the weekend, including two one-hitters.
