No. 6 Carolina Set For First Spring Matches

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The sixth-ranked North Carolina men's tennis team opens spring play on Saturday with a pair of matches, hosting Bucknell at 10 a.m. and Wofford at 4:30 p.m. All action will take place on the indoor courts at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center and admission is free.
Saturday's matches are the first of back-to-back home weekends for UNC. On Jan. 24 and 25, Carolina hosts ITA Kickoff Weekend action, with Utah, Duke and Middle Tennessee visiting.

The Tar Heels are coming off a 2018 season in which they finished 24-6 and reached the NCAA Tournament Round of 16 for the fifth year in a row. The UNC roster includes both the reigning ACC Player of the Year (junior William Blumberg) and ACC Freshman of the Year (Benjamin Sigouin).
