Tar Heels Finish Seventh at Mason Rudolph, Final Round Cancelled Due to Rain

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The final round of the Mason Rudolph Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club has been cancelled due to rain. The results will revert back to scores after 36 holes. Carolina finishes tied for seventh place with a 12-over-par. Kelly Whaley led the Tar Heels and finishes tied for fourth overall at 4-under-par.

Ava Bergner: +17, 161, T73
Mariana Ocano (Individual): -1, 143, T15
Host Vanderbilt took home the team title, running away from the field by shooting 17-under. They were led by Abbey Carlson, the individual winner, with a 12-under.
The Tar Heels will return home and begin preparing to host the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational at Finely Golf Course in Chapel Hill on Oct. 12-14.
