Carolina Notes
• 23-5 overall, 11-3 in the ACC
• Virginia scored 41 points, the second-fewest by an opponent in the Smith Center (460th game). Clemson scored 39 on 2/16/1995.
• The 41 points are the fewest allowed by the Tar Heels in Roy Williams' 14 seasons as head coach. Previous was 42 by NC Central (11/11/2009) and by Northern Iowa (12/21/2016).
• The 41 points are the fewest UNC has given up to Virginia since 1/21/1947 when UNC beat the Cavaliers 63-38. That game was played in Woollen Gym.
• Carolina out-rebounded the Cavaliers, 44-26 (plus 18). The Tar Heels came into the game first in the nation in rebound margin at 13.2 per game.
• Carolina came into the game averaging 65.6 points in 11 games against Tony Bennett-led teams at Virginia and scored 65 in this evening's game
Tar Heel Player Notes
• Justin Jackson led Carolina in scoring for the 15th time this year. Jackson had 20 points, 18 in the first half, and six assists.
• It was Jackson's 14th 20-point game this year.
• Jackson scored with 56 seconds left in the first half to give Carolina a 34-18 lead. That basket gave him 18 points and tied his scoring with Virginia's team scoring.
• Jackson made four three-pointers, the ninth time this year he made four or more 3FGs - he did that once in his first two seasons.
• Kennedy Meeks had 13 points and seven rebounds – all in the second half.
• Isaiah Hicks had a game-high eight rebounds, his second highest total this year.

• Tied Eddie Sutton for the eighth-most wins among Division I head coaches with 806
• Now 806-214 overall, 388-113 at UNC and 166-64 in ACC regular-season games
